Sustainable investments are hotly debated everywhere. But words are not enough. Customers, investors and regulators want to see action.

The plethora of products and service providers in this area is overwhelming. Before deciding on a particular ESG approach, however, it pays to clarify one’s own values and motivation.

I provide conceptual advice to investors on sustainable finance. I help them develop an investment policy that is consistent with their values, makes a relevant contribution to sustainability, and enjoys both internal support and external recognition.

• How does ESG relate to our core business? Which strategy is in line with our values?

• Consulting, interviews and workshop on the topic of sustainable investment (ESG) for a large corporate pension fund (>15 billion CHF AuM) as well as one of the largest pension funds in Switzerland (>15 billion CHF AuM)
• Position paper climate change for a private bank
• ESG Ratings Assessments: Advising a large public pension fund (>20 bn CHF AuM) on the choice of a rating.
• Around 30 engagement dialogues with global listed companies on ESG issues, together with an investment fund
• Strategy workshop on “Sustainability and Investment Promotion” for an investment promotion agency
